COOPACSOL is a Savings, Credit and Multiple Services Cooperative, born to serve the international and local community of the southeastern Dominican Republic. With members from more than 15 nationalities, we are the Caribbean’s multicultural cooperative — uniting Dominicans, Europeans and citizens of the world in a project of solidarity finance and shared growth.

COOPACSOL operates under the regulation and supervision of the Institute of Development and Cooperative Credit of the Dominican Republic.
What is IDECOOP
The Institute of Development and Cooperative Credit is the Dominican state body that regulates, supervises and promotes cooperativism. It ensures all cooperatives operate with transparency, solvency and responsibility toward their members.
What it means to be a cooperative
A cooperative is owned by its members, not shareholders. Profits are reinvested in benefits for members and the community. Decisions are democratic. Your voice counts the same as any other member’s.

The Dominican Republic has over 800 cooperatives registered with IDECOOP. The cooperative movement is a pillar of local economic development, with millions of members across the country.
